Good Weekend in Destin....sad for the Future!

This past weekend Jeremy and I went to Sandestin with his new company. It was fabulous! We stayed at the Grand at Sandestin, right beside Baytown. It could not have been prettier and the weather, was hot, but perfect! We ate seafood (lots of it), drank a frozen drink or two, and enjoyed the ocean and pool. It was a very needed stress free weekend. The ocean was fabulous, despite a little seaweed it was just as pretty as always. I am so glad I got to go to the beach before the BP Oil ruins our beaches. That saddens me so to think that no longer will the beach look like this picture....it will look like the one below this one.

This what we have look forward to. This was taken in Orange Beach last week. I am sure it smells lovely and you can see from the pic its not pretty. So very sad for all the beaches. I hate this so for all the beach goers and for the business that are going to take such a hit too!
