Getting Crafty

Here is the dresser we, well mainly Jeremy, crackled for John Preston's room. This dresser has been around for a while. It was originally my aunt and uncles, then has moved through many of my families houses in college and after. Now it will be in John Preston's room and it looks completely different then is used to. It has been several colors and different stains. Jeremy sanded the dresser and then I helped paint and crackle it. It turned out really good. We didn't want anything to bold so I think these two colors did just the job. Now the main focus is not on the dresser just on the other things. Big post later about other nursery items. I hope to do some work on it this weekend. This week has slowed me down due to being so tired again and swollen fingers. THEY HURT...but if swollen fingers are my only issue I am good to go.

On a side note, the hubs has stepped up lately and deserves a big Thank You. I am getting bigger and it is harder to do...well everything. So he has been way helpful with all my crafty projects like the dresser and a few other things. His next thing will be to build a valence for the room. He is even going with me shopping and to Walmart. I think he thinks I am going to trip and fall if I am by myself, which there is a strong chance that could happen, but either way I like the company and I like not having to push the buggy at Walmart! THANKS JER
