When I got home Friday, I scooped up John Preston and outside we went...it was so pretty! We sat out on the back porch and watched golfers ride by...he doesn't look to excited in this picture, but trust me he had a great time. Really he did!
The next morning we had a day of mommy and me. Jeremy went to play golf so John Preston and I ventured out to Hobby Lobby. At that point in the day he had on a cute green onesie and pants. As the day went by we had to switch our outfit ( I will let you guess why) and I just decided it was a tie dye kind of day...so he was looking good all afternoon. We played, played and played. And needless to say of course he didn't want to take a long nap..I keep hearing from his Nana that he occasionally takes long naps..well not Saturday.
This is the only nap we got in..all 20 minutes of it. But doesn't he look so comfy. He is almost to big for the family bassinet!
Now Sunday was a Sunday fun day with mom and daddy. Well, it was a day of running errands and poking in and around a few stores and then the grocery. John Preston was GREAT. We only had one minor breakdown and all he wanted was out of the stroller so I carried him through a few stores...this was no biggie. As soon as we got home this little man fell fast asleep. Not to long of a nap but it was a hard sleep. He was out!
Can you tell I love my baby boy...that's pretty much all the pictures I have on my phone! This weekend Jenny comes to town and I am super excited. Haven't seen her since my surprise birthday dinner. Now, let's just hope for a great work week!
