John Preston turned 5 months old yesterday! Crazy how fast time has flown by, like really where did the last 5 months go. I thought people were crazy when they said "time will fly with your little man" and they are so correct. I have ALMOST but not fully forgotten about my first 8 weeks of no sleep, crying, and not sure I would make it. Thank you Lord we have moved on to better days :) So at 5 months John Preston is....

• LOVES his feet
• Still loving his fingers...always in mouth, well if he isn't going for a toe
• Rolls from back to stomach and get stuck on his side when rolls from stomach to back
• Talks all the time
• Loves Mickey Mouse Play house..well he will at least stare at it while I get dressed
• For sure knows who Jeremy and I are
• Has finally found Gus, he tries to pet him
• Bath time is no longer terrible, he loves it
• Eats like a champ, well bottles. We are working on the food stuff, he does not like rice cereal at all, but does love bananas
• Learning to sleep in his crib in his room, we are a little behind on this due to his reflux...but we are getting close!
• A car ride = nap time :)
• Strolling is one his favorites
• He LOVES outside

Okay so I think that about does it for his 5 months of fun! I am so in love with this precious boy!

On a side note....I travel all week next week! Which means I have to leave my little man for 5 nights. I have not left him since he was born. To say I am nervous is an understatement. I am so not looking forward to being away from him. I am looking forward to sleeping the whole night, but I am not looking forward to leaving him and going to Texas. The day I get home we load up and head to Hattiesburg for a wedding....busy week for the Ward family.
