Last week we went with my family to the Dominican Republic and we had the best time. We played on the beach, in the pool, drank beach drinks, went on walks, took the cable car to the top of the mountain, and got lots of family time. John Preston did great on the flights over and home. I couldn't have asked for a better first flight experience. He LOVED the ocean and the pool. He wanted to stay in there the whole time. He loved playing with cousin Chandler too. I think he was a bit jealous that Chandler and Addi (our other cousin) could walk around. He just watched them...but I was happy with him just sitting on his behind!

I have one million more pictures so I am sure there will be more to come. Can I go back to the DR now....work is so not as much fun as vacation!

Also..

While we were gone John Preston turned 7 months. I cannot believe I have a 7 month old.
Here are his 7 month stats-

• chewing on EVERYTHING
• not interested in "big" people food
• loves his baby food
• wearing a size 3 diaper
• wearing 6-9 month clothes
• sleeps in his bed, through the night..amazing
• smiles all the time
• plays with his stuffed animals all the time
• grunts when he tries to sleep
• has learned to wave, just not always at the right time
• WEIGHS 22 POUNDS! yes he is hefty but I love a tubby baby, especially my tubby baby!
• still loves walks and riding in his wagon
• starting to play with Gus

I love my sweet precious little boy!
