9 Months Old

Saturday John Preston turned 9 months old! So I am a few days late posting and I do not have a picture. Just call me mom of the year. Anyway, on to his facts for 9 months

We go to the doctor on Thursday for a shot free checkup, I am pumped. No shots.
Last we weighed he was still hanging on to 22 pounds, big boy has decided to slow down
As of last night we can eat puffs and Gerber sticks (some kind of Cheeto looking thing)
Our goal this month is more food, real food people, real food
8 teeth and counting, I think there could be a 9th coming in
First note home from the teacher, he bit someone :(
LOVES to say dadadadadada and only says momma if he is screaming his head off
Can say Uh Oh and says it usually at the correct funny time
Crawls all over and pulls up on anything
Hair is getting longer, a hair cut will be in our near future (maybe)
Smiles like a champ, he just loves a good ole smile
Still loving the wagon or the jogging stroller, although I think the wagon is his favorite
Swimming in the baby pool or the big pool is great fun, loves both
Bath time is fun most of the time, just talks to himself and plays with his turtle
Sleeping is usually good, but not when he is sick...that is no good

Sweet baby boy is getting so big and I cannot believe we are getting close to the big birthday. Yes, I have already started coming up with ideas for his party. I know I have plenty of time, but lets be honest he only turns 1 one time and I only get to have a 1 year old "baby" party once so the party planning has begun. Oh I am enjoying it very much so. We are not having a big 1 year old party mainly family and a few close friends, but it still will be cute cute. It just has to be!

This week is a crazy week...two showers at my house this weekend so if JPW could learn to clean, dust, mop, decorate or any of the mentioned I would be delighted!



Update on operation bye bye baby fat. As of last week all baby fat and then some is gone. I would like to ideally lose 5 more..but if not I am happy as can be right now...but 5 more would put me back where I want to be. Thank you MyFitnessPal!
