This past Saturday I got up way early (like earlier then I get up for work) and headed to New Orleans to surprise Jenny for her birthday. I think she had a slight idea I might show up, but didn't really think I was coming since I didn't have a sitter. Ha, little did she know I left Jer at home with John Preston and I was up and in NOLA by 11 a.m. I am Good. We had a great day. We started off our day with brunch./lunch at Stanley's on the square, then walked and walked around all the "touristy" places, and then back to uptown. Once we got back to uptown (Jenny's neighborhood) Mom and I headed to do a little shopping while the others rested and watched tv. That night we went to 3 different watering holes to meet and see Jenny's friends and then ended the night with hamburgers at Company Burger. It was a great fun long day. Happy Birthday little Jenny.
