Another Weekend Recap!

How in the world are these weeks flying by so fast...oh yes because I am so busy at work these days! Wow. I love being busy it makes the work day go by faster, but I don't need my weekends flying by too! Slow down weekends, slow down. This past weekend was a busy fun weekend. I started my weekend with dinner at Julep with a great group of college friends. We all may lead completely different lives, but put us together with dinner and drinks and you would think we were right back in college just talking like we used to. The back room at Julep got a little quieter when our table left. Good fun night with great friends.

Then on to Saturday..Jeremy decided to hang one my pictures for me (I got it last year)...needless to say I was excited he was up and wanting to do it. John Preston was very into it as well.He watched every move Jer made, he wanted the tools and wanted to do it himself. Daddy's little helper. Love them.

I also took a little time, again while everyone else was asleep, and made John Preston another shirt. I am going to try and make him a shirt a weekend for the next few weeks. Trying to stock up on Spring shirts...so I don't have to go buy as many. I love an appliqued shirt, so the more I can make the better. I finally broke down and ordered cute "boy" fabric so I had a little more to work with this weekend. Here is the first try at the dump truck, its a little to high but its okay. Even better when I think about how much money I saved :)

Of course we had to play outside. The sun was out so we were in it. It was still a bit windy but this man did not mind. He wore his shades, had a stick, and a water cup. Life was good for him. Also he is obsessed with wearing his boots. Has to wear boots all the time, like really ALL the time.

And finally we tried bubbles in the tub on Sunday.  He was a fan. He wore them nicely. :) Last weekend we did have a wedding shower too...forgot to add it in there..pictures to come later. This weekend we have another wedding shower, and then family time 101. We are trying to come up with fun stuff to do that doesn't cost anything (saving money...not always fun). Any ideas? Please please be sunny and we can play outside or at the park :) 

Now on to a new week and another crazy fun weekend.
