Of course my wonderful daycare did Muffins with Mom last Friday, and they gave me this precious bouquet. I absolutely love it, and it made my day.I was so excited to get hand prints of my sweet boy. This is his first "real" art piece from school and I will always love it. Love it.
Sunday, John Preston and I played with moon sand (I think that was the name, thanks Pinterest). We started inside but quickly noticed this was an outside toy. He LOVES it. We made three batches. He didn't really keep it in one place, he just loved throwing it around. What can I say, flour and baby oil, you are the best. I can afford to make several batches, and could care less if you are on the floor or in the bowl.
Here is an action shot with his moon sand. Loved, loved, loved throwing it everywhere. Gus even got in on the action.
Jenny came down this weekend too! I was so super sad when she didn't think she was going to make it, but last minute she did. We had a DIY project of our on...cover her ottoman. It was a great craigs list find, it just needed work. So we headed out to Hobby Lobby and found some fabulous indoor outdoor fabric. It is so nice and great weight. We pulled out the staple gun and went to town, we did run into a few bumps with the legs (they wouldn't come off) but we got it all done. It looks awesome. Above is the in work picture...below is the finished gem.
The dogs enjoyed the ottoman too!
Another fun shot of John Preston on Mother's day with his moon sand. Did I mention he loves it!
My sweet boys.
